Len Wiseman Jumps In The Motorcade

Fresh off his success with Live Free or Die Hard (which I actually thought was quite a fun ride, everything else aside), Len Wiseman has signed on to direct Motorcade for a freshly Paramount-free DreamWorks Studios. The movie will center around a group of terrorists who attack the Presidential Motorcade as it travels through Los Angeles. Hm...Die Hard 5, anyone?

Billy Ray, the very competent screenwriter behind movies like Breach, rewrote the original draft by Hans Bauer and Craig Mitchell. I'm not sure what to make of this one. It sounds a bit derivative and seems like Wiseman might be retreading old territory, but I guess familiar ground isn't so bad when it comes with $383 million of worldwide grosses.
